DNIe
- Digital Natural Image engine

DNIe
- Digital Natural Image engine is produced and controlled by Samsung.
Most all Samsung HDTV's now have DNIe. DNIe is designed to enhance
4 key areas of a TV's display picture. DNIe uses its own algorithm
to analyze any kind of input signal (HD, SD, RF or DVD) and convert
it to an optimal output signal tailored to any kind of display device
(Flat CRT TV, Projection TV, Plasma TV, LCD TV). The DNIe process
begins with an Intelligent Analyzer that detects the source type,
noise level, and scaling to make sure you get the best results from
all the subsequent processes. The final output is a frighteningly
sharp picture that makes screen a whole new viewing experience.
DNIe enhances the following 4 areas:

Things to Think about:
With
Most Samsung models, the functionality doesn't exists to turn off
DNIe. With any TV technology, the look and your enjoyment is based
on your personal tastes and your unique set of eyes. Samsung is
a leader in the TV market, however some are bothered or dislike
DNIe pictures. The fact of the matter is, with DNIe, your digital
signal is being manipulated. The Algorithms, though advance, will
at times make mistakes. ChooseYourTv.com recommends watching the
TV before you buy. Watch the TV with a Standard, DVD, HD, DTV, and
Game console signals. That way you can make sure that DNIe is right
for you.
